2019 Blue Dog Farm Opening Dates and Times and Picked Berries

Blue Dog Farm Members:

We're looking to open as early in the season as we can. It will probably be in early July. (For reference, in 2013, it was July 11 and in 2014 it was July 8. In both 2015 and 2016, it was June 25 (THAT's not going to happen!) We'll let members know via email as soon as we set the date. Sign up for membership now! Review the basics on our Membership and U-Pick Details page, then send us an email to join and be ready to pick the first berries of the season.

Organic blueberry gleaning:

Starting in 2014, we partnered with Hopelink volunteers who gleaned berries throughout the season. So it's really not "gleaning," that is, cleaning out what remains in the field after harvest. This is top-of-the-season fruit. We can accommodate additional non-profit picking and distributing groups during the 2019 season. Email if your group is interested.

U-pick without membership:

We're focused on providing premium organic blueberries and a premium picking experience. The membership approach helps us do that. Try our membership. You'll like it.

Picked berries:

We will pick a limited amount of berries picked to order for customers who order early and can be flexible (and immediate) on picking up fruit. Minimum order is 10 pounds. Send us an email. Berries are $5.50/lb picked.

We will also have picked berries at the Carnation Farmers Market on Tuesday evenings during July and early August.

Thank you, our loyal (and new) customers, for your kind words and your happy picking. We are working hard to bring you as many organic blueberries as we can.
